Record Donation: 150 Trillion YTL in one go
A few days ago, a record donation was realized as a part of traditional Turkish humanitarianism.
Our founder Mr. Kadir Has donated his shares of Akbank; which is worth 150 trillion YTL today, to our foundation, and stated that this will continue.
Our Foundation is going to get stronger via this extraordinary contribution which is “the biggest donation in one go”
in our country – or maybe throughtout the world.
Thus, our attribution to the birth of new education and health institutions, initially to Kadir Has Institutions, will
continue increasingly.
We would like to share our joy that is the result of this most meaningful donation that increases the capabilities
of our Foundation and our will for serving our nation, and we offer our gratitude to our benefactor Mr. Kadir Has.
