Kadir Has Foundation, one of the biggest foundations that serves in education, health and social subjects in Turkey,
built various educational facilities for Kadir Has University initially, Erciyes University and Marmara University.
Since 2008, the number of elementary schools and highschools is over 25. Besides this, donations for the building of Congress Palace, City Museum and World Trade Center inside Kadir Has Cultur Park in Kayseri were made.
In addition to these, Kadir Has Foundation built Teacher's House and a Red Crescent Medical Center. Also, an elementary school and a sanctuary which had been built by Nuri Has 60 years ago in Kayseri and Adana were renovated.
The deceased Kadir Has, the founder of the Foundation, donated greater amount of his family’s shares of Akbank to
the Foundation in order to ensure the future of the Foundation.
Besides its permanent charity works, Kadir Has Foundation makes cash donations to Turkish Armed Forces and various entities and institutions.
Most of the charity institutions that had been built were donated to the related foundations. At the top of this list
comes Ministry of National Education, Marmara University and Erciyes University.
Kadir Has University continues its activity as the educational institution of the Foundation, and most of the sources of
the Foundation has been used for the University.
Kadir Has Foundation gives scholarships who cannot afford their educational expenses, and provides them education
in and outside the country.
